Tia Stephens is a recurring character of the ABC Family series, The Fosters. Tia is friends with Mariana and was on the original dance team before quitting and creating a new dance squad with Mariana. She makes her first appearance in the episode Say Something in season 2.

Biography[]
Little is known regarding her background. Personality wise, she is shown to be a blunt girl who is not intimidated by others. This is shown when Mariana tries convincing her to tone down her skilled dance moves because it makes everyone else look bad and to "blend in" with the dance team. However, Tia responds by sarcastically asking if she should "dye her hair" (mocking Mariana's dyed blonde hair). She then tells her that she can't hide the fact that she's an excellent dancer.

Tia is a tall, beautiful,dancer with caramel skin, curly black hair, and brown eyes. She has a slim build, but is shown to be athletic due to being a skilled dancer.
