Bradley Bredeweg is an American writer, producer, and director. He created The Fosters and its spin-off Good Trouble, alongside Peter Paige and Joanna Johnson.
Biography[]
He was born to Raymond and Kathleen Bredeweg. He has two brothers: Tyler and Alex.
He started his career as a writer and director in 1998 for a short film, The Child. His work became more increased as a writer and producer in 2008. He returned in that year with a short film, Alyx. He became a writer for a show titled as The Katie May Show. In 2010, he wrote 6 episodes for Fly Girls. In 2012, it was announced that The Fosters would air on ABC Family which was created by Bradley, himself, and Peter Paige. He has been working with Peter Paige since 2007 as Blazing Elm Entertainment. He had three series that were currently in pre-production: King Tut, Repeat After Me, and Tut.
Bradley rose to fame due to his contributions to The Fosters and its cultural impact. The series ran for five season before it aired a series finale. However, Bradley, Peter Paige, and Joanna Johnson worked together to create a spin-off that focused on fan-favorite characters Callie and Mariana. The series titled Good Trouble was applauded for tackling social issues similar to what was done in The Fosters.
