Alex Wood is a software engineer and coder who worked for Speckulate until his misogyny resulted in his firing. He was the leader of Team Blue for the company.

Personality

Alex is a pompous and sexist man in his early twenties, who has an edge to him about working with Mariana. Alex has a brilliant mind that can write complex code, though also maintains an invincibility complex. He always thinks his work is perfect and gets easily offended when people question him or his efforts. Alex is not above degrading colleagues whom he feels are beneath him, even going as far as to try and take credit for Mariana's ideas.

He welcomed Mariana to Speckulate with a slight suspicion of her actually being an engineer. He then gives her administrative tasks, until Mariana spoke up for herself and he let her go through the code. He is shocked when she finds errors in his code.
